Amazon Echo Frames are available for pre-order now for $ 250, and Amazon has announced that they will ship through December 10th.
Echo Frames - the smart glasses with the built-in Alexa voice assistant - were gradually introduced last year as part of Amazon's Day 1 Editions program, which only offers limited versions of experimental products. The Echo Frames, now in their second generation, are seriously launched this season and are available to pre-order by anyone.

In contrast to the smart glasses from movies or CompetitorEcho Frames focus less on creating visuals for users than on putting Alexa right in your ear (or at least close to it).
The second generation smart glasses will include some updates to the pilot product. The battery life is increased by 40%, the power supply is automatically switched off if the frames are turned off for more than three seconds, the volume is automatically adjusted to take account of ambient noise, and the frames themselves are available in three colors: Classic Black, Horizon Blue and modern turtle (mottled black and orange).
When Echo Frames is connected to an iPhone or Android phone via Bluetooth, you can make audio calls, play music, set timers, and answer questions. An Amazon spokesman said people can use Echo Frames, for example, to control multiroom music through compatible Echo speakers and smart home devices.
