The absolutely amazing photograph above comes to us from Oregon Live and shows one man whose truck was caught in a huge 20-vehicle pileup on I-84 33 miles east of Baker City, Oregon. While most of the vehicles involved were semi-trucks, Kalen Whitby's small truck got caught between two large semi's, and the result is mind-shattering.
Another perfect example of 'when it's not your time, it's not your time', Whitby clearly had an angel sitting on his shoulder. All he could say is:
“Thank God that I’m still alive,” he said. “Now I’ve got to go figure out why.”
