AltaRoma: Sabrina Persechino Matrice Collection FW 2014-2015In occasion to the AltaRoma, the Italian designer Sabrina Persechino presented in Rome, at the Lancisi Hall in the Monumental Complex of the Holy Spirit in Sassia, the new Matrice collection born from the study of the process that generates the great architectural works.
The fashion show was held to the rhythms of the music granted by Oscar winner for the music of the film "Life is Beautiful" Nicola Piovani. The models were coiffured by Sergio Valente of Intercoiffure Italy for L'Oréal Professionnel.
"The source of inspiration for my collection was the compositional process of Frank Lloyd Wright, whose idea of translating the natural organic forms in architecture is reflected in the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum" explains Sabrina Persechino.

Continues the binomial between architecture and fashion, where the big bands prospectively parallel and perpendicular concentric, which mark the exhibition of the Guggenheim, a spiral structure of the museum and the fluid succession of spaces that resemble the shell of a nautilus, are the elements that the designer-architect identifies as a leitmotiv for the next autumn-winter 2014-15.
Sabrina Persechino wanted to wrap the female figure in a golden rectangle, often dissected by designing clothes that emphasize the swirls of the logarithmic spiral where femininity has increased expression in the lines of the body.AltaRoma: Sabrina Persechino Matrice Collection FW 2014-2015
Ample swirls enveloping the shoulders and twisted elements highlights the longilineal of the figure, textured bands, monochromatic and converged, multi-colored and concentric, rather unconventional spiral , aided by digital layout and observation of the Nautilus sectioned.AltaRoma: Sabrina Persechino Matrice Collection FW 2014-2015
Fabrics used: the silks - duchesses, mikado, shantung, cady, chiffon; as well as laminated and specially tanned leathers and laser etched.
Predominant colors: those of the shell of the Nautilus, dark red like the ornamental strips of the outer shell and mother of pearl pink; invariably the classic black and pure white.
