On February 7th, Danza Macabra Records will be releasing The Alpha State - Remixes Chapter Two from Patrick Zigon. This is a great collection of deep house, house and tech house interpretations of Patrick Zigon's original works from The Alpha State LP.

The Pascal Feos & Frank Leicher remix of Momento Magico has a nice groovy house vibe. The Hinam remix of Black Out starts with a sweeping synth and a lonely kick, then the 4/4 beat comes in. It continues to build until the break. A track with lots of emotion, this one will be in my deep house sets. The Stranger's Paradise remix by Francesco Bonora is also on the deep end of the spectrum, although more dance floor friendly than the remix of Black Out. The Orange Time remix is very trippy and hypnotic, also in the realm of deep house. The Muk.ti remix is amazing - sort of sounds like the result of Trentmoller working with Modeselektor. Techy and quirky with chopped up vocal snippets. The EP ends with the Fog remix of Nevesta which has a classic deep house vibe.
