It's storming outside. Rain pounding the windows. Wind blowing. It's been a long week but I'm not quite ready for sleep. I slide on some headphones and start looking for some music. I don't want anything new. I want a familiar song. Maybe something I haven't heard in a while; a lost treasure of a song, long misplaced in a sea of digital files and folders.
Alone, In the Dark with These 5 Musicians
As I search by artist, I realize I associate different musicians with different times of the day. I start playing around and create a playlist of what I call "Night Artists". I tend to appreciate these artist's more at night than I do during the day. They are at their best when you're alone, it's dark and the rest of the world is asleep. I hit play. Crank the volume. And am lost.
