Happy Thursday Friends! Hope your week has been going well! Spring is always such a crazy time because there are SO MANY things going on… weddings, showers, meetings, events, everything. Anyhow, I am ready for the END of the weekend. I have some Junior League obligations on Saturday, but then I’m DONE! I just want to hang out with my boys.
When it’s not hailing (crazy Texas weather), it’s been absolutely gorgeous and feeling like Spring. Flowers are blooming, and the sun is shining. It makes me feel like wear bold and bright colors! That’s exactly what I did for a recent Clothes Circuit Spring shoot!
I ADORE this Peter Pillotto graphic print dress! Since THE DRESS was the focus, I paired it with a cream jacket. The bright blue clutch and pink heels added a color punch that’s perfect for Spring! It helps to pull colors from the print of the dress. If you wanted a more subdued look, then wear it with neutral bag and nude heels.
It is more of a fitted dress, and a bit short for me to be able to wear to work (or be age appropriate). My latest solution to is to add pants to anything TOO SHORT. It converts the dress into a tunic. Voila! #ShortDressSolution (I did the same in this mini-dress post.)
THE STYLE Rx: Balance a pretty print dress with a neutral blazer. Add pops of color with accessories and shoes for a cheerful Spring look! And add pants to anything for a fun alternative look.
