Pink isn't just Wednesdays this month.

October means many things - Thanksgiving, Halloween, the last quarter of the year - but most of all, October is also the month of breast cancer awareness. Each year, the month is dedicated to raising awareness and funding life-saving breast cancer research through fundraisers and special products.

Despite incredible advances in survival rates, breast cancer remains the leading cancer and the second leading cause of death in Canadian women, according to the Canadian Cancer Council. According to the latest statistics, 1 in 8 Canadian women is expected to develop breast cancer at some point in their life.

Every year, fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands release special collections and products for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with a percentage of the proceeds donated to cancer research and prevention. Discover below the pieces you can buy this year to make a difference.
