I've enjoyed other work by the author so was looking forward to All My Darkest Impulses. This is the first entry in a four-part serial. The story sets the stage for what's to come and I look forward to learning more about sinister Merle House and the secrets that bind Mathew and Claire. So much happens in this short piece and I was left with so many questions when I read the final page. I thought this was very enjoyable.
