Winning in Blood Debt: All Classes
To win more often in Blood Debt, you really need to learn the three main jobs (or roles) you can have in the game. Knowing how each job works helps you play smarter.
It also helps a LOT to know the map. There are many spots where players like to hide, so learning them gives you an edge.

Bystander
Your main job is just to stay alive! Sometimes, certain Bystanders are targets. You need to be good at hiding, running, doing tasks, or maybe fighting back. Doing the tasks shown in red makes the round end faster. Important: Don’t shoot other Bystanders or the Sheriff! You start with no weapon. Look for simple weapons like bats or pipes in buildings. You can also grab items to use, or take the Sheriff’s gun if they get taken out. Two ways to play: 1) Find a weapon quickly and try to sneak up on the Killer. 2) Find good hiding spots and move between them. No matter what, don’t stay in one spot too long, and try to do tasks if they’re close by while you move or hide.
Sheriff
The Sheriff needs to find the Killer and stop them. Be super careful! If you shoot a Bystander by mistake, you’ll be out too. You always start with a handgun. You can find other guns like shotguns around the map too. To play Sheriff well, be quick and pay attention. Move fast using cover. Quickly figure out who the Bystanders are. Listen for gunshots to find the Killer without being seen. Think like you’re hunting someone.
Killer
Your job is to take out specific targets. The game will give you clues on your screen about who you need to find. You start in a good spot because you always get a handgun or a shotgun right away. A shotgun at the start is a big help. Don’t just run around shooting wildly. Look at your clues to find your target. When you know who it is, try to surprise them. If your target is hiding well, learn the map and quickly check the usual hiding places.How to Win Blood Debt: Team Death Match Mode
If you just like straightforward team fights, Team Death Match is perfect. Your team starts in a room full of weapons inside a maze-like area.
Grab the best gun you can find, maybe set it to fire automatically, and take out the enemy team quickly.
Winning this mode really just comes down to how good you are at aiming and shooting from playing other action games. So, just play like you would in any shooter game, and do your best!
How to Win Blood Debt: Hide or Die Mode (Getting the “No Souls Left” Badge)
For players who want a bigger challenge, Blood Debt has Hide or Die Mode. If you’re really skilled here, you can earn the special “No Souls Left” badge.
Like Team Death Match, players who are good at shooter games will have an easier time. Here are important things to remember for this mode:
- Your goal is to take out everyone else on the map.
- The game needs at least six players for the badge to be possible.
- You must be the last player alive at the end to get the badge.
- Police can appear from two places, but mostly from the one outside.
- A good plan is to wait for the police in the hallway that leads out of the building and surprise them.
- Remember to use auto–fire (press V) when you need to shoot several police quickly.
Common Problems in Blood Debt: Reloading Your Gun
Besides accidentally shooting a Bystander or the Sheriff (which happens a lot!), the most common problem players have is reloading weapons.
It works differently in Blood Debt than in most games. You need to press two keys: T and then R.
- First, press T. This might open your shotgun or pull back a part on your pistol.
- Then, press R to put the bullets in.
Different guns might work slightly differently, but you almost always need to use T then R to reload properly in this game. If you don’t, your gun won’t reload!
