Verdict: Too Much Thinking
Story: Alien Code starts when genesis cryptographer Alex Jacobs (Gallner) gets a visit from Rebecca Stillman (McCormack) offering him a job, to crack an uncrackable code from space, one that could rebuild Alex’s reputation.
Once the job is finished, Alex finds himself needing to work with Beth (Skye) the person who cracked the code first, as they find themselves bring hunted down by the government who want to build the destruction.

Final Thoughts –Alien Code does bring us a question that will be searching for, one about are we alone in the world, with the deep dive into what if you are not, what would you do if you knew the truth and how would it change your own mindset if you could change knowing the truth. If that sounds confusing, it is because we do find ourselves going so deep into these questions, it does seem to take away from the story going on, not giving the characters enough time to escape the potential, showing us what it could be like living in the mind of a genesis. While we could analyze this movie for ages, to understand the subtle ideas, it does seem to become more than it needs to be. We can’t say anything bad about the performances in the film with Kyle Gallner in the leading role doing well throughout. This is definitely going to be one for someone who wants to sit down and think hard about a movie.
