What time is it?

Even though the season four finale aired just three short weeks ago, Cartoon Network’s hit show will be back on Monday, November 12.

Adventure Time, which takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting, centers on the adventures of Finn the Human and his best friend, Jake the Dog. Together, the two go on wacky escapades, save and protect princesses from the Ice King, and many other things in the land of Ooo.

The show will return with in two parts; the first episode titled ‘Finn the Human’, and the second episode (which will air on the 19th) will be entitled ‘Jake the Dog’, according to ScreenCrush. Essentially, the episode is part two to the season four finale, ‘The Lich”, and will clear up unanswered questions.

In addition to that, an hour long episode is rumored to occur this season, as well as the return of the gender-swapped alternate universe of Cake the Cat and Fionna the Human. The episode is rumored to feature comedian and rapper Donald Glover (Community, Mystery Team) as the voice of Marshal Lee, Marceline’s male counterpart. Also, the episode, ‘I Remember You’, which referenced a connection between Marceline and the Ice King will be addressed in an episode called ‘Simon and Marcy’.

Adventure Time with Finn and Jake airs Monday nights at 8/7c on Cartoon Network.
