Alexis Ohanian, Serena Williams’ husband, recently hinted at his large collection of NFTs based on the tennis legend.
Ohanian had previously displayed an NFT based on his wife during the Met Gala red carpet in 2021. The co-founder of Reddit attended the event in a black tuxedo, which he accessorized with an NFT badge he purchased for Williams. The outfit was an instant hit within the NFT community.
In 2021, Ohanian made the acquisition of the NFT from the CryptoPunks collection. According to Mashable, the NFT was “one of the rarest and most expensive NFTs you can own.”
The Williams CryptoPunk is extremely valuable due to the fact that it is one of the 3,840 “Female” punks and has the extremely uncommon “Headband” trait.
Someone on Twitter recently said that they liked the “Serena Punk” set.
