Sunset Neon brings back 80s sound with his new album Starlight.

Album Review | Sunset Neon – ‘Starlight’Right away with the intro of the album you can’t help but feel taken back into the 80s.  The songs that stick out and stay true to this sound is Got You, Never Dance Again, and our past Fresh Finds Friday song Tonight.  Now the whole album flows well and has that 80s vibe but these songs are the ones that stick out the most with that vibe and take me back to the Top Gun Soundtrack.

I do have to say Sunset Neon has shown the skill he has throughout Starlight, but the one song that made me stop and listen not once but twice right away was his cover of Prince‘s song Kiss.  At first, I thought I was listening to the late singer but I soon realized it was Sunset Neon showing his amazing vocal range.  This is a cover that was done very well and it takes amazing talent to be able to cover an artist like Prince well.

I have to say this album is 5/5 stars.  I didn’t want to stop the album not once and when it was over I hit the play button again.  This album is available wherever you get your music and trust me when I say we will be hearing more from Sunset Neon soon.  This artist has amazing talent and it showed through with Starlight.
