JVP Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake yesterday said that he is ready to accept the Premiership if Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa are willing to step down from their positions.
He said that he is prepared to bring normalcy to the country within a very short period . “As proposed by the Prime Minister, if he steps down from the Premiership, I am ready to accept the position”, he said.
Dissanayake was addressing a press conference in Colombo yesterday.
