After cleaning itself up, this Lufthansa A380 climbs for altitude as it begins its long flight to Frankfurt from San Francisco. It is the world’s largest passenger airliner. Initially named Airbus A3XX, the A380 made its first flight in April 2005 and began commercial service in October 2007.
