I was trying out a new shooting location during a recent photo day with fellow ISAP member Rob Edgcumbe. Here is a sequence looking down SFO runway 28R as an Emirates A380 gets airborne for a long flight to Dubai. The A380 is the world’s largest passenger airliner. Initially named Airbus A3XX, the A380 made its first flight in April 2005 and began commercial service with Emirates in 2008. Emirates plans to have 140 of these aircraft in service.
