This Emirates A380 descends on final approach after a long flight from Dubai.  Five Airbus A380s and five Boeing 777-300ERs wear the ‘Year of Zayed’ livery that commemorates the 100th year of HH Sheikh Zayed’s (founder of the United Arab Emirates) birth.  The world’s largest passenger airliner, the A380 made its first flight in April 2005 and began commercial service with Emirates in 2008.  Emirates is the largest Airbus A380 operator with 109 planes in service and 14 on order.  In February 2019, Airbus announced it will end the A380 production by 2021, after its main customer, Emirates, agreed to drop an order for 39 of the aircraft.  Nikon D500 w/ Tamron 150-600mm.
