First flown in 1984, the Airbus A320 family pioneered the use of digital fly-by-wire flight control systems, as well as side-stick controls, in commercial aircraft.  The A321 was the first derivative of the A320 family and first flew in 1993.  This heavier and longer range A321-200 first flew in 1996 and is one of 43 A321-200s in the Lufthansa fleet, all will be replaced by the newer A320-200NEO aircraft.  Still in production, more than 1,600 have been delivered.  Fuji XE-2s w/18-135mm.
