In February 2018 Lufthansa revealed a new livery, the first significant revision since 1989.  It will be 2025 before the whole fleet sports the new livery.  In Lufthansa’s own words: “Fuselage, wings, and engines are completely painted in glowing white, transmitting clarity and security. The aesthetics of the aircraft shape is underlined perfectly and authentically by the white. The tail fin in deep blue visually lengthened creates the base for a bold, strong and contrasting visualization of our crane.”  First flown in 2014, the A320NEO started out as the A320 Enhanced (A320E) program with a series of efficiency improvements and a new aircraft cabin.  Nearly 28 years after the first A320, on 25 January 2016, the A320neo entered service with Lufthansa, the type’s launch customer. This is one of 19 in the Lufthansa fleet with 96 on order, all will replace older Airbus A319-100 and Airbus A320-200 aircraft.  Fuji X-E2s w/18-135mm.
