Tatum Hunter at The Washington Post wrote a very in depth article on the world of porn, ai and even touched upon a couple unreported domain name sales.
The article talks about how A.I. dreamgirls might replace porn stars and how some might already be using chatbots to talk with their fans.

The article moves on to Steve Jones, according to the article Jones is the owner and operator of a once-popular collection of porn websites. He entered the business in 1999 with a site dedicated to sexy snapshots of college students. He renamed himself “Lightspeed,” and, within seven years, the married father of two was operating a collection of more than 30 porn sites and making half a million dollars a month.

Jones told the Washington Post he called up his old business partner, and the two immediately spent about $550,000 securing the web domains for porn dot ai, deepfake dot com and deepfakes dot com, Jones said. “Lightspeed” was back.
The thing that stood out to me was Jones said he build an image engine to crank out adult related content and that the site’s “power users” generate AI porn for 10 hours a day. 10 hours a day is pretty wild to me.
