This Agusta departs the Hiller Aviation Museum’s Vertical Challenge helicopter airshow. The AgustaWestland AW109 is a lightweight, twin-engine, eight-seat multi-purpose helicopter built by the Italian manufacturer Leonardo (formerly AgustaWestland). Introduced in 2005, this version was developed from the base AW109 by lengthening the cabin and powerplant/main rotor blades upgrades. The AW109S Grand is still in production with a MSRP of $8.1M.
