Verdict on Agents

Recap

The movie follows two agents from different international departments teaming up to find a missing treasure. They must work together to stop international relationships from being broken and it becomes a race against time.

Best Parts

The first positive is the beautiful island of Mauritius being used as the main setting, it is a location we rarely see, and this might be the first action movie I have seen on the island. On the heist side of the story, we get to see different people trying to get away with the crime and the authorities doing the routine hunt to track them down. We get the unlikely partnership working nicely between the two leads, this keeps us wanting to see where they go next.

Worst Parts

The movie does have some good action sequences; however, they always feel like they are not as intense as they are suggested. It leaves them feeling more like the first run-through and is more interested in showing the shots of the kicks, than the impacts of them.

Final ThoughtsAgents is late-night action 101.
