Story: Aged starts when Veronica Grey (Boss-Maltais) takes a temporary job as a caregiver. The home is remote and she is caring for Mrs Bloom (Kidd), so her son Charles (McClain) can have some time with his own family.

However, Veronica finds herself having questions about the home. The gardener gives a warning about the home, while Veronica tries to build her relationship with Mrs Bloom. Meanwhile, she gets the feeling they are not the only two in the home.

Verdict on Aged

Aged is a horror thriller following a young woman that takes a job as a caregiver. It starts out like a routine role, but the isolation ends up causing a larger strain on Veronica. This leads her to question what is really going on within the home.

Aged manages to bring us a different level of horror. It starts out with the routine feeling of being uneasy in a new location for work. However, it dives into a much more sinister and creepier environment once the truth is revealed. This movie uses the location to make everything feel safe. The performances are great from the whole cast. If you were to compare this movie to others, it can easily be mixed together with Jordan Peele’s Get Out and The Skelton Key.

Final Thoughts – Aged is a disturbing, uncomfortable and shocking horror tale.
