We’re right in the middle of Amsterdam Fashion Week but I think I might have already seen my favorite show. On Thursday I attended the show of Collectie Arnhem, the label of the 3rd year’s students from Artez, Institute of the Arts. I loved the long, sleek silhouettes and playing with volumes. The color scheme was really good as well especially the nudes and greys, and my favorite pieces were some of the coats shown above that I wouldn’t mind wearing at all. A definite special touch for me was that after the shows, the models stayed on the runway and the viewers could take a closer look at and touch the pieces. Had to hold myself back from stealing that gray oversized bomber jacket in the last picture off the model, luckily there were too many people watching. Dear Collectie Arnhem, if one of you talented students ever decide to take one of the coats into production, call me.

I’ll share more on Amsterdam Fashion Week later although I’m afraid I won’t see as much of it as I would like since I haven’t been feeling that great this week and I really don’t want to get sick right before Copenhagen.. Just my luck!
