A few months ago when I was staying away from home for my boyfriend's triathlon, I decided to take advantage of the situation and catch up with my blogging buddies Sarah & Lisette. We wanted to do something fun so opted for a spot of afternoon tea at Leamington Spa's Vinteas... I'd heard about it but had never been...
The tea shop was so kitch and adorable I wanted to take it all home with me! There were some delicious looking cakes that ranged in an assortment of tasty flavours, but the main thing for me was the afternoon tea itself. We had some tasty sandwiches but I was more interested in if the scone was good enough, as sometimes with afternoon tea the scone can be a bit dry.... I can certainly say this was perfectly light and fluffy!
A good cup of tea is always top of my daily needs and nothing beats a good cup of tea in a vintage cup and saucer!
You most certainly can't beat jam and clotted cream!
I love to visit tea shops and this is one of my favourites, I'd go back in a heartbeat if it was closer! Afternoon Teas start from £12.95pp and I can assure you its worth it.
