Verdict on Aftermath
Aftermath is a mystery horror following a woman who finds herself waking up in a mysterious forest. She finds herself being hunted down by masked men as she searches for a way out of the forest. However, her journey takes her down a strange series of memories revealing a startling truth.
This is a movie that goes down a series of unexpected paths. It starts by giving us a survival-styled thriller before taking us in a different direction. This surprise is welcoming, as it could have just fizzled into yet another survival thriller. But the bold move gives us a much more compelling and interesting story to watch unfold. This ends up being a movie which excels in the storytelling, which constantly keeps us guessing. Fruzsina Nagy and Edward Apeagyei are both great in their roles throughout the movie.
Final Thoughts – Aftermath takes us down a labyrinth of mysterious storytelling.
