After having a busy schedule planned out this week, a couple of appointment’s got cancelled or postponed leaving me some very rare Free time, to do whatever i felt like :)
So naturally as a designer and artist (who hasn’t actually drawn much other than dresses for the past 6 years) I picked up my favorite medium - chalk pastels, and got to work on a set of drawing based on bizarre & interesting dreams that I’ve had.
Using my journal as a guide, I sketched out a few mysterious scenes and spent hours getting delightfully colour stained with chalks on my face, clothes and hands! (On the paper too of course :p). I forgot what a joy it could be to take myself out of fashion design and get totally absorbed in total self expression and artistic freedom.
The 3 that I’ve been working on are more or less finished except from frames but I have a few more ideas i’d like to work on to complete the series.
