Aérospatiale-BAC Concorde, Air France

Paris Air Show,@Le Bourget Airport, Paris, France

June 2003

This was taken during my first trip to the Paris Air Show.  This Concorde sits on the tarmac, only a few weeks after Air France flew its last commercial flight with this type.  French Concorde F-BTSD has been retired to the “Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace” located at Le Bourget and, unlike other museum Concordes, some of the systems have been kept functional. For instance, the nose can still be lowered and raised.   Taken with a Nikon Coolpix 4500, processing in iPhoto.
