Spotted at the 2022 Wings Over Camarillo, this pairing of an Czechoslovakian Aero L-39C Albatros jet trainer with a 1970 McClaren M8C race car was begging to be photographed. First flown in 1968, the Czech-built Albatros is the most widely used jet trainer in the world with 2,800 still in use with various air forces around the world. A popular jet warbird, more than 250 are registered with the FAA. This L-39 wears a handsome albeit fictitious U.S. Navy livery.
