One such example is the latest collaboration between footwear label and tiny, soulful songstress, Jhené Aiko. The Grammy Nominated singer has teamed up with the iconic footwear brand for their first celebrity collaboration collection, the Teva x Jhené Aiko Collection.

The collection features Teva's three sandal styles: Original Universal, Hurricane XLT, and Universal Flatform, with their woven upper straps accented with a Hawaiian inspired pattern inspired by the friendship bracelets that Jhené and her siblings exchanged while growing up in the color Space Dye with Teal. The Teva x Jhené Aiko collection is founded on the premise of Jhené's love for travel, adventure, and self-discovery and emphasizes the free-spirited and daring lifestyle in the perfect cross section of fashion and function.

The limited-edition collaboration Universal Flatform sandal weaves rich earth tones into an intricate pattern inspired by her world travels and the above mentioned friendship bracelets. It boasts polyester webbing upper, rose gold metal hardware, a vegtan leather topsole, and a 2 1/4” EVA platform.

The Hurricane XLT also boasts the same upper and rose gold hardware, but features a microfiber topsole, and a durabrasion rubber outsole.

The Original Universal Jhené Aiko, Teva's most iconic silhouette, also features the Space-Dyed webbing upper, rose gold hardware, and microfiber topsole, and a gum-rubber outsole.
