Examinations Commissioner General Amith Jayasundara said the 2024 GCE Advanced Level (A/L) Examinations will be suspended for three days from today 27 to 29 due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions.
He added that the subjects scheduled for the exam on those three days will be held on December 21, 22 and 23. The Examinations Commissioner General said this at a special press conference held at the Examinations Department yesterday afternoon.
The Advanced Level examination will be held again as scheduled from Saturday (30) and will continue as previously scheduled. It should be specifically noted that the examination will be held according to the scheduled timetable issued to candidates,” he added.
