Following a run of shows supporting Chalk and Sprints, Irish punks Adore have signed to Big Scary Monsters, shared new single ‘Show Me Your Teeth’ and announced details of an extensive tour throughout the rest of the year.
Guitarist and vocalist Lara Minchin says the song was written during a five-month period where she was suffering from nightmares that would doubled up into interwoven storylines. Produced by Gilla Band bassist Daniel Fox, the song has a vitality that reminded us of Muncie Girls of Fight Like Apes as Lara clings on to the anticipation of ‘the imperfections alongside the ideal’: ‘You’re the best waste of time’.
