We tried the beef Bisto Stock Melts in spaghetti bolognese, the vegetable ones in risotto (which I made for the first time and was delicious) and the chicken stock melts in a variety of stirfrys, casseroles and rice dishes along with giving homemade soups that something extra by using vegetable ones in place of my normal stock cube. The Bisto Stock melts add more flavor to dishes and have given our daily dishes a new lease of life. I find them less salty that some of the other brands of stock cubes and pots I have tried in the past which is a big win for me and as you can add them directly into cooking without the need to dilute them first they are a lot less messy and quicker to use. They certainly have the "aah Bisto" factor. Bisto Stock Melts come in packs of six for £1.89 and are widely available from supermarkets.
Bisto also sent us a very cute apron and chef's hat for Ben to wear while helping out in the kitchen which he loves. Whenever he puts it on he calls himself "Baker Ben" and looks ever so proud with himself so I want to say a big thank you for it.
Ready to cook with Bisto Stock Melts!
*Disclaimer: I received the full range of Bisto Stock Melts along with ingredients to try them out and this fantastic chef's apron and hat for Ben. This has in no way biased my opinion, all opinions and views expressed are my own.
