Actor Profile: Jennifer Garner

Posted on the 19 August 2016 by Sirmac2 @macthemovieguy

Having just seen Jennifer Garner in Miracles From Heaven, I realized I hadn’t done a profile on one of my favorite actresses yet. I’ve seen 25 films (and counting) from her, even the ones that weren’t so great.

BEST PERFORMANCE:
I’ll single out her performance in Dallas Buyers Club as being her best serious performance, but I’m also a huge fan of 13 Going On 30. It’s one of my guilty pleasures that I love to watch whenever I happen to notice it on TV.

MOST ICONIC PERFORMANCE
She’s either best known for being Elektra from Daredevil, Sydney Bristow from Alias, or 13 Going On 30.

MOST UNDERRATED PERFORMANCE
I don’t think many people saw Butter, but I thought it was a cute dark comedy, and she was really good in it.

BEST PERFORMANCE I’VE HEARD WAS GOOD AND HAVEN’T SEEN
I’ve seen almost every performance of hers, except for a few TV things. I guess I’ll nominate her recurring role on Felicity because I don’t have much else to work with.

WORST PERFORMANCE/FILM
Obviously Elektra. I liked Daredevil, but her solo spinoff was terrible.
