The Fremont County Sheriff's Office in eastern Idaho says a boy has died following an apparent accidental shooting.
Authorities say emergency crews responded about 7:45 p.m. Saturday to an area near Newdale after a report of a boy being shot in the abdomen.
Police say the boy was flown to the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls where he later died.
Police say they are continuing an investigation but the shooting appears accidental.
