Reading books is proabably the most interesting thing that I can do all day, But for some odd reason, people are actually not into books, but mostly because they don’t have the time to complete an entire book. For those folks, I would recommend web series. They are everything you need. Why do you think that? you might ask. Well, because most of them got an amazing storyline with some acclaimed actors which makes it a must watch for anyone who wants to read a book but does not have enough time.
Of late, all the online streaming services in India have started making original web series, which if you ask me is the best thing since the Cartoon Network. With so many options to choose from, there are few shows that have managed to catch my attention like Sacred Games, Rangbaaz, Mirzapur to name a few. One of them is a ZEE5 Original called Abhay that is all set to hit the platform on 7th Feb. ZEE5 has categorised this series as a crime thriller, and it features one of the most talented upcoming actors of Bollywood, Kunal Kemmu. Though the trailer did not reveal a lot of things, I did manage to get some insights about it, and that is what I’m here to share.
Here are my thoughts about the trailer of Abhay starring Kunal Kemmu’s
Just from watching the trailer one thing is for sure that the web series is going to be a treat for any movie lover with the element of suspense evident from the trailer itself. The trailer starts off by introducing the protagonist of the web series - Abhay, played by talented actor, Kunal Kemmu. Abhay comes across as a cop who is diving into multiple criminal cases in a quest to solve them. He clearly states that, though understanding the criminal mind has its pitfalls, it is the need of the hour and Abhay shall rise upto the challenge.
Of all the things I saw in the trailer, one thing that hooked me the most is the cinematography. The proof of that is seen throughout the trailer. My old time readers would know that I’m not a cinephile, but I can not hold my self from appreciating the production value of the web series. Unlike the other web series that I know of, this one actually has some great technical work which got me all curious about the web series.
Overall, I think Abhay would possess all the possible ingredients to make it a favorite among viewers, and I sure am excited to watch this series on ZEE5.
Have you watched the trailer of Abhay yet? What do you think about it? I would love to hear your views in the comment section.
