ABC has decided to pick up Secrets and Lies, the drama pilot starring Ryan Phillippe to series. It remained in consideration after the first wave of pickups, largely due to the penalty attached to the show should it not get a series order. ABC was going to pay money either way, and I guess they decided to air the show instead of just lose money.
ABC is still in negotiations for two new sitcoms, Cristela and Fresh Off The Boat, which could help Last Man Standing get renewed.
