Story: Domino starts when a pair of police officers Christian Toft (Coster-Waldau) and Lars Hansen (Malling) look to answer a call, which will see them come face to face with Ezra Tarzi (Ebouaney) a man on a mission, who escapes leaving Lars in critical condition.

Christian wanting to find the man gets paired with Alex Boe (van Houten) as they look to locate the man who we learn is being used by the CIA agent Joe Martin (Pearce) to fight the latest terrorist threat.

Thoughts on Domino

ThoughtsDomino is an action thriller that will see one man wanting answers for the death of his partner, which will see him getting caught up in the middle of an international terrorist group needing to be eliminated. This is a strange story because it portrays the man being hunted as a villainous person due to what he does to Lars, but then spin the story to make us have sympathy towards him because of the world he finds himself trapped in, hunting the terrorist for the CIA. This is a film that is always feeling like we are going to get some form of twist, even if the one we get does feel flatter than it could be, as not everything feels like it is tied up the way it should be. The performances in the film are strong throughout, but you just can’t help but feel like there was so much more to see from the story, as the slow motion ending just feels like it is being used to stretch the already short runtime.

Final Thoughts Domino is an easy to watch action film that never hints the intensity it desires.
