War for the Planet of the Apes
Why I’ve Picked this choice – For me this is my pick for the best movie of the year in a full cinema release that is a Blockbuster. It may well be the third installment of the franchise, it could easily be the best trilogy of the century where each film just seems to get better and better, the motion capture technology is unbelievable throughout the film and with the numbers we hitting on screen at once the team should be getting an Oscar this year. Even on a second viewing this is just as stunning as the first viewing and I hope this is the film people remember the most from this year. I can’t say enough brilliant, passionate words about this movie and what an achievement in film making it is.
