Okja
Why I’ve Picked this choice – Okja follows a young girl Mija who has been caring for a creature known as a Super Pig, an animal that is designed to end word hunger, the two have become best friends and when Okja is taken away she goes on a world trip in search for her best friend meeting the colourful characters along the way. The cast is amazing Tilda Swinton, scene stealing Jake Gyllenhaal, Steven Yuen from The Walking Dead, the ever-incredible Paul Dano and new comer Seo-Hyun Ahn. This film shows just how capable Netflix are to produce original content that has a powerful meaning that does tug on the heart strings and is one of the first films anybody signing up to Netflix should be watching.
