Thoughts on The Driftless Area

ThoughtsThe Driftless Area is an odd little movie that will follow a young man that finds a fortune and wants to do the right thing for someone, while seeing good things come his way and the people who stole the money come after him. This is especially interesting because it is one of the few Anton Yelchin movies I hadn’t seen before. He is the lead of what is a great cast that includes Zooey Deschanel, John Hawkes and Frank Langella. The film will use a story that intertwines and at times could come off as confusion, but by the end you will put the pieces together to learn about the bigger picture going on. The locations add to the world we are going in, only with the criminal side of the film seemingly being the slower less interesting side to what is going on.

Final Thoughts The Driftless Area is an interesting almost mystical crime drama.
