Thoughts on Benny Loves You
Thoughts – Benny Loves You is a horror comedy that isn’t afraid to take things to the extreme comedy levels, pushing past anything that seems normal to put us into a world where the toy comes to life with a murderous tendency. Everything about Benny is comedy gold, playing straight into the dark sense of humor required for this figure. This does feel like an original story idea, which is what will make it this more entertaining to watch. The Benny doll is filled with disturbing comedy look, which will give us the laughs at just what he does. Karl Holt does take the leading role, director and writing side of the film, which will show his own talent for giving us the horror comedy we have needed for a long time. The weakness can come from certain special effects, but the Benny movement all work for added enjoyment.
Final Thoughts – Benny Loves You is one of the best horror comedies in years, leaving you laughing out loud at nearly every scene.
