This month we are going to be taking on the films I enjoy, my favourites of all time. I have a strange taste in movies, so be ready to expect some true greats and some you could never see on anyone’s favourites list. I will only be picking movies on this list and it will just be my discussing my picks rather than giving full reviews.
Pitch Black
Why I’ve Picked this choice – When it came to sci-fi movies we had struggled back in 2000 to have a new planet idea with monsters, Pitch Black bought a new spin on everything and a new icon in Riddick. We have a crashed transport ship on an unknown planet with multiple suns, but when night falls, they will face a much deadlier enemy in the shadows, with prisoner Riddick being the only one that can guide them to safety.
This role made Vin Diesel the star we know now and the performance of Radha Mitchell is one we can never second guess.
