This month we are going to be taking on the films I enjoy, my favourites of all time. I have a strange taste in movies, so be ready to expect some true greats and some you could never see on anyone’s favourites list. I will only be picking movies on this list and it will just be my discussing my picks rather than giving full reviews.
The Mummy
Why I’ve Picked this choice – The year was 1999 and a Blockbuster came out called the Mummy, yes in 2017 they tried it again and failed miserably. The main reason that movie failed is because it just isn’t as fun as the 1999 version, yes, it isn’t the scariest movie or even scary at all, but it was the closest to an Indiana Jones movie we have ever had, we have the unlikely hero, the plucky strong female character and a villain that plays into Egyptian history. For me this is one of my favorite action movies I can just pick up at any point and watch to the end.
