Actor Aamir Khan and Christmas have become synonymous with each other over the past few years now. The actor has been delivering one big hit after the other for this Christmas period starting from Taare Zameen Par to the very recent Dhoom 3. Now his upcoming movie PK too is joining the Christmas release.
Just at the start of the year the film was positioned to have a summer release post IPL. Now the makers have moved it to December. The reason stated for the postponement is that Aamir Khan wouldn’t be able to dedicate his attention fully to PK, if it releases in June. The actor will be busy with his series Satyamev Jayate and hence couldn’t focus fully on this movie. Keeping this in mind a decision was taken mutually to postpone the film and everyone had no other date in mind for its release as well.
There is a small glitz though as the Christmas date has already been locked for the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Bombay Velvet which also stars Anushka Sharma as heroine. One has to wait and see how Bombay Velvet team reacts to this sudden change of plans from PK.
