A YouTube “Star” Is Defending Her Decision To Do It While Breastfeeding
And yeah, it goes without saying I don’t mean “do the laundry.”
I don’t have a kid, but I would wager a guess that a breastfeeding baby might be a bedroom buzzkill for most moms and dads. Apparently not to a breastfeeding YouTube “star” named Tasha Maile (aka Spiritual Tasha Mama). Having a baby on her tit doesn’t prevent her from getting her rocks off. But Tasha recently discovered that some people on the internet aren’t nearly as enthusiastic about her taking multitasking to a new level by getting her fuck on while feeding her kid.
According to Tasha’s YouTube profile, she’s a “life coach” and “breastfeeding vegan mother spreading love/awareness” with almost 530,000 subscribers.
Two years ago, Tasha uploaded a video called DO I HAVE SEX WHILE BREASTFEEDING?, and yes, things are about to get all kinds of uncomfortable for those of you who recoil in horror at the thought of having sex in front of a kid. FYI: There’s visible lady nipples in this video:
Tasha, now a mother of three boys, says:
“We are pleasure beings, we are meant to enjoy sex and pleasure and all things can be orgasmic…I’ve had a lot people ask me if it’s okay to breastfeed and have sex. From what I remember, I remember sleeping with my ex-husband and my son was on me breastfeeding and we would have sex from behind or something. There’s nothing bad about making love, ever. Enjoy it.”
The video gained a little recent traction online, and Tasha has been all over the news. A month ago she uploaded a video clarifying her original one in which she explains why she had to have sex at the same time she was breastfeeding her son. She says her 3-month-old son wouldn’t let her put him down, so she had sex while he was on her, and that he wasn’t involved in the act. Oh, that’s so much better. I’m sure CPS just threw the file they were compiling in the trash.
Tasha is clearly still dealing with tons of hate, so yesterday she appeared via satellite from Utah on ITV’s This Morning to defend herself against people who think she should keep her baby out of her sex life. It was awkward. Tasha says it’s “totally fine” to have sex while your baby is breastfeeding, but only if they’re sleeping. She also says there’s no such thing as “right or wrong“, before adding that the baby is innocent and doesn’t even understand what is happening. She also says it’s fine because the baby is not “judging you.” The baby might not be, but everyone else is:
Tasha’s confession isn’t exactly Mo’nique in Precious, but it still feels not right to me. Tasha, I know you want to fuck, I get it, but be reasonable here. That’s what video games were invented for. You wait patiently until your kids are old enough, then you sit them down in front of some Zelda with a couple sandwiches, and tell them you’re busy for the next 45 minutes.
