Hostels have been around for a long time offering affordable no-frills accommodations for the thrifty traveler. But lately I've noticed a rather welcomed trend of design hostels popping up everywhere. This particular one immediately caught my eye for its gorgeous and minimalist look. Designed as a hybrid between a Japanese pill hotel and an old European department store, the the modern Goli Bosi Design Hostel is located in the heart of the old town of Split, Croatia. Yellow plays a key role in its decor paying homage to the old sulfur baths the town was known for. Although simple in its design, this hostel has very delighful details—I especially love the graphic signage in the rooms floors. If you're not into sharing your room with other guests, don't sweat it. You can choose a private room to enjoy a fabulous stay in this groovy inn.
