«We met online! We also actually got engaged in Parga and fell in love with the place! Despite going through all the Pandemic and obstacles that was thrown at us (cancelled venue, multiple flights, cancelled my dress shop…) we managed to get out there for a small gorgeous intimate wedding with just close family!», the bride shared with us.
From Lefkas Weddings: «They got engaged in Parga in 2019 on holiday and Hannah contacted the next day to discuss how they could get married there! Their initial plan for a large 80-person celebration in Parga was cancelled due to Covid and rescheduled several times. After much soul searching, the couple decided that love was most important and they didn’t want to wait another year so they asked us to redesign the wedding day into a luxe micro wedding. However, the journey to I do was still not smooth for our lovely couple as the next hiccup was having their date cancelled by the original venue. With five weeks to the wedding, we reached out to our contacts and put together a new concept for the day which featured the key wishes of the couple, namely a ceremony on the beach, amazing food and statement florals.»
«We created a design concept for the new location and commissioned wood panels to frame the ceremony whilst allowing the beautiful view to be seen. The florist made large floor arrangements with pampas, hydrangeas, roses and greenery. Similar decor was used to decorate the dinner space and the table was filled with simple glass candles and greenery. The highlight of the evening was the 8-course degustation menu designed by Four Elements at Irida Boutique Hotel. Owner Christos and his head chef provided a culinary journey of Greek tastes including such dishes as Salad of black quinoa, Black Angus beef tartare and ‘Pastitsio’ dumplings and a trio of desserts to complete the food experience. An important part of the evening was live music and our pianist Andronikos and singer provided a mix of jazz and modern covers. They specially arranged songs by Michael Jackson and George Michael for the couple’s entrance and first dance.»
«We wanted to feel crisp and elegant and classy but also beach vibes. Our wedding planner Lefkas Weddings was amazing at capturing this and with the pampas grass and flowers set with the backdrop of the sea and the handmade wooden doors on the beach following by a rooftop lit meal. Elegant and chic! Piano player was also super classy and we was just so happy to finally get married!»

«My favorite moment was being on the beach with our family, with the sunshine on our skin and the song “Bill withers lovely day “ play king out on the beach and having some champagne we felt so happy! The golden hour of the sun having our photo and video shoot in the old town and all the locals coming to congratulate us! Very special.»
The bride’s advice: «If things don’t go to plan trust the universe! It will all work out!»
