This past weekend Joe and I headed back home for the wedding of our good friends, Max and Brittany. It was a beautiful day and the reception, which took place at Northland Country Club in Duluth, MN, was nothing short of good times and a whole lot of dancing.
Now, I’ve been to my fair share of wedding venues in the area over the past four years but I had never been to this place and let me tell you, it was awesome! There were beautiful gardens surrounding the building, a fire pit for late night s’mores, a great view of the golf course and you could see Lake Superior off in the distance.
Guests were able to move from the outdoors to the inside where the best spread of hors d’oeuvres I have ever had in my life were set up at four different stations. There were so many delicious foods to choose from that I took two plates with me the first time I went through the lines. Yep, I’m that girl.
Throughout the evening we were also serenaded with music by Saint Anyway. I went to high school with these guys so it’s been fun watching them get bigger and bigger with every show! I guess you can say Saint Anyway is Minnesota Grown!
What? Too cheesy? The music was a great addition to the evening and those guys can really get down on the dance floor! It was a perfect location for a perfect Duluth summer wedding. Wishing our friends a lifetime of happiness and love! Thanks for letting us be part of your special day!
