In April I had the pleasure of filming Sarah and Scott’s wedding at The Upper House in Balaston, Stoke on Trent. A venue that is full of history and character and the perfect setting for a stylish wedding.
I also had the pleasure of working with the ever so talented Phoebe and Amy of Flossy and Leigh fame. I know they’re super talented and amazing because I have had the honor of having my very own Flossy and Leigh makeover (which you can see on Hannah Dornford-May’s blog as well as the infamous Love My Dress wedding blog).
This track was a favorite of Scott and Sarah’s and it worked really well with the creating the perfect ‘feel’ for their film

Sarah had recently lost her Mum so during the ceremony had a bouquet placed on the chair she would have sat on which was a really beautiful gesture. Sarah and Scott had some lovely touches throughout the day that helped them remember those that couldn’t be there. The sun was shining all day so maybe everyone had come to watch their beautiful day…?
It really was a pleasure to be able to capture their wedding day for them. Sarah was such a sweetheart and the morning flew by in a cloud of hairspray as I filmed all the laughter and tears that took place that morning. I can’t tell you how happy it makes me being able to capture such special memories for the couples that choose Love Gets Sweeter to film their day! We obviously made a good impression on Sarah and Scott as well…
